Happy 2021! I hope you all are settling into the new year. Each year I find myself finding ways to store everything and make the best use of our space. We live in an older home with small closets. Over the years, I’ve gotten pretty good at finding ways to maximize storage. I’ve created spots for bathroom storage, maximized a reach-in closet, and made the most of our pantry and spice drawer. Here are a few things I use to keep us organized.
This utility bucket holds general cleaning supplies like scrub brushes, sponges, bathroom cleaners, etc. It is stored under the kitchen sink and can easily be taken from room to room on cleaning day.
This platinum pull-out drawer is also under the kitchen sink. It holds more cleaning supplies like furniture polish, stain remover, silver polish, and floor cleaner. The pull-out feature makes it easy to find what I’m looking for.
Our gravity can feeder is perfect for holding stacks of tuna, charcuterie staples, soups, and those fun size Trader Joe’s cans.
This wire rack added even more storage under the kitchen sink. It holds dish soap and extra scouring pads.
Foil & plastic wrap used to take up valuable space in our door rack. In walks this foil & wrap organizer and viola! It even holds plastic storage bags.
These plastic storage bins corral groupings of “like things”. One holds oils, vinegar, and cartons of broth. Another holds napkins, paper plates, plastic cutlery, etc. My personal favorite holds snacks, haha! And one is full of water bottles.
This door rack added tons of storage space to our pantry! It’s great for holding all of the extra pantry staples.
Foldable storage baskets hold extra hats, gloves, candles, books, weights, etc. They live in the white armoire in our living room.
Over the door storage is a must for tiny closets! I use this clear pocket storage to hold all sorts of toiletries, as seen here.
If you’ve seen my closet makeover, you will know that I rely heavily on canvas shoe storage bags.
