If you love feta as much as I do, you will love this simple recipe for feta and yogurt sauce. Not to be confused with whipped feta, something entirely different. This sauce is intended to be eaten warm or at room temperature. We LOVE it warm with homemade oven fries or the Alexia brand. So good! It’s also good on roasted asparagus or Brussels sprouts, grilled chicken or fish. Serve at room temperature with raw veggies. You can garnish it (or not) with fresh herbs. Swap out the chicken stock for vegetable stock for a vegetarian option.
One thing I recently learned about feta is that authentic feta cheese comes from goat or sheep milk. The difference in taste is quite noticeable compared to feta from cow milk! We love Trader Joe’s Authentic Greek feta. When it comes to Greek yogurt, Fage 5% is my favorite.
Let me know if you try this recipe. I love hearing from you!
