Hey guys! I’m excited to share a couple of kitchen updates with you today. I finally decided on a rug and also have a new picture on the wall across from the sink. First, let’s take a look at the rug, shall we?
When I asked you all if I should go with a sisal rug or a vintage rug, most everyone said vintage. I was already leaning in that direction and you confirmed my thoughts – thank you! While this rug isn’t technically vintage, it is muted like a vintage rug.
I went with this one in the brick color-way. The muted shades of blues and reds with a subtle touch of green are exactly what this spot needed. The quality is really nice too.
Now for the new art. I had a picture that I took on our trip to Palm Springs printed and framed. After going round and round looking for frames, I remembered this source that I have used before.
The process was super easy! I uploaded my image and played around until I got the size I wanted. Then I made the frame and mat selections and placed my order. The picture arrived in a little over a week.
We spend so much time in our kitchen and it’s really nice to have a reminder of one of our family’s favorite vacation spots where we can all see it. I highly recommend Frame it Easy as a one-stop-shop for printing and framing. I’ve used them before to order custom frames and mats. Get 10% off with this link.
Reagan is especially happy with the updates. Treats are in the cookie jar and a new rug just for her – how could she not be happy, haha!
