Thank you to everyone who left a sweet comment yesterday about my very own “work in progress” small entry. Last week I shared part 1 to this series discussing small entryways and things you can do to make the most of a space. This week I’m digging a little deeper into wall treatments and mill work that can make even the smallest space sing. I’m a huge fan of adding those extra details that make all the difference.
Floor to ceiling wainscoting creates a nice backdrop in this all white entry.
Vertical shiplap emphasizes the elevation of the stairs drawing the eye upward.
This is probably one of my favorite entryways at the moment. Love the wainscoting on the lower wall only.
How about horizontal shiplap on only the lower portion of the wall?

Girl, I'm with you on the whole small entry drama. Your place looks so great already that I'm sure you'll find the perfect solution. Personally I LOVE wainscoting of any kind but I think on just the lower portion would be nice in your entry with some beautiful art. Can't wait to see what you choose to do 🙂

I have a weird entry–it's not really small, but I need to treat it as though it is. I like your choices!

Really beautiful options that almost anyone can do and that nicely dress up these small spaces. Love that orange foyer table, too! How fun is that?!
