I hope that all of you had a wonderful start to the new year!
Our family just returned from an enjoyable trip to the mountains. Snow covered the ground when we arrived making for a beautiful drive through the winding country roads.
On the way to our family’s house, we pass lots of Christmas tree farms. Seeing them surrounded by snow was such a treat. Hopefully you aren’t completely nauseous at the thought of seeing yet another picture of a Christmas tree. These were too pretty not to share.
These are the baby trees. I don’t think I would have noticed them had it not been for the snowy back ground.
The temperature this morning when we left was 15. Ice floated down the New River. It’s hard to imagine tubing and rafting down this river now. Even on the warmest summer day, this water is COLD.
I’m really sad to see the winter break come and go. The holidays are so hectic and busy and once we finally begin to relax, it’s time to get back to the real world again.
How long until spring break?
