I’ve received several emails in response to a recent post on tan kitchen cabinets. So, I thought you guys might like a roundup of paint colors that I believe would be good options in case you are thinking about going that route in your own kitchen. These colors are shown “full strength”, but you could always cut them by 50% to go a little lighter and still have that warm tone that many of us seem to love. Hope this helps!

High Street Market also used SW Relaxed Khaki on cabinetry and it looks beautiful.

I'll have to look for that Megan. Everything Kelly does is perfect!

I painted the cabinetry in my guest bathroom a neutral "putty" color. I love it and am so surprised at the amount of compliments it gets. I forget what color I used but it was a Sherwin Williams paint. I love this look for a kitchen and really fell for the kitchen in your post. The cabinet color looks fabulous paired with white marble.

Your guest bath sounds beautiful! Yes, I agree with taupe cabinets paired with marble countertops. Thank you for stopping by!

I am from Australia and have a putty type colour
it is brand name dulux color Russian toffee and I love it. I am sure you could get a color match there
I installed that kitchen colour 14 years ago with Calacatta marble counter tops . They look just as good now as the day they were installed and haven't dated one bit. Good luck to anyone interested in the color, I highly recommend it
