Sweater weather is almost here, and I must admit that I’m ready for it. I’m not one to wish the seasons away (unless it’s winter, ha), but I am excited to switch up the wardrobe a bit. Even though I enjoy wearing more color and patterns during the spring/summer months, fall, for me, is a time to break out the classic neutrals (including blue and green, of course). Today, I have a roundup of a few pieces that will be the foundation of my fall and winter wardrobe.

I love a good pair of jeans, and these are both comfortable and flattering. They have the perfect amount of stretch and hold their shape throughout the day. I also love the leg opening – a slight flare but not too much. I would probably opt for darker denim as it gets colder. This cardigan is a great “wear now and later” alternative. I plan to also wear it with black denim and trousers for a dressier look. Loafers are the perfect everyday shoe and these are quickly becoming part of my fall uniform.
