I love driving through Greensboro and seeing all the pretty porch stoops this time of year. Decorating our front porch is something I look forward to. As soon as the weather cooperates, I’ll visit the local Christmas tree stand or farmer’s market to see what wreaths are available. I’ll use the bells I purchased from JSH last year and velvet ribbon to add a festive touch. (See my tutorial here, if you’d like to make your wreath.) I also plan to stuff the cast iron urns with greenery and berries for a splash of color. Look for a post once it’s all finished. Until then, here are some of my favorite holiday porches. Enjoy!
Pro tip:
Most front doors are 36″ wide. A 24″ wide wreath is perfect. This leaves a bit of room on either side of the wreath. if you prefer something more dramatic use a 36″ wreath or consider stacking two wreaths on top of one another for a fuller finished appearance.
