I’m super excited to share our bathroom re-fresh with you today! As many of you know, our downstairs bathroom has needed an update. At first, we considered a full-blown renovation but decided to make some minor improvements instead. I was thrilled when Love vs. Design reached out to see if I had an upcoming wallpaper project. Our little bathroom was the first room that came to mind and the timing could not have been more perfect!

With 800+ pattern options and 200+ colors, I was sure to find the perfect peel and stick wallpaper. All of the patterns are customizable so you can pick out exactly what you want. First, I ordered samples to see how each pattern/color worked in the room. I liked all of the samples I received but ultimately decided that “rustic wreaths” looked best for this space. I customized the pattern using white for the ground, wind for the flowers, and sage for the foliage.

I had hung wallpaper before but never peel and stick wallpaper. Overall, I’d say it was an easy experience. My biggest challenge was working in such a small space. Before the paper arrived, I removed the previous wallpaper, patched holes, and lightly sanded where needed. Next, I cleaned the walls with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water to ensure that the wallpaper would adhere. The actual installation process only took a day.

In addition to the new wallpaper, we added a new medicine cabinet. This bathroom has zero storage space and a roomy medicine cabinet is a must! I snagged this one from Pottery Barn while it was on sale.

Another new addition is this magnifying mirror. It has three light settings and is charged by a USB. No need for direct wiring!

Thank you so much to Love vs. Design! I love my wallpaper!
