One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to wrap presents. It’s so fun putting those finishing touches on gifts that give them an extra special feel. Wrapping paper is important. I like to use kraft paper and reversible papers because they are usually a little thicker than the rest. Tapes in glitter, metallics, and fun colors are a nice touch to hold the wrapping paper in place. I love using wire ribbon in burlap and gold to make bows – the wire gives the ribbon enough structure to make the prettiest bows and they are easily repositioned until you achieve the look you want. Satin ribbon is pretty as well for making single bows and tying up gift bags. It’s always nice to have simple gift bags on hand in white or kraft paper. They can easily be jazzed up with pretty tissue paper and ribbon. Last but certainly not least, any time I find simple gift tags, I grab them because they go with everything. I am an Amazon affiliate and you can find my gift wrap storefront here.
