1. I’ll never forget where I was nineteen years ago when I first heard about the first plane crash. After hearing the news, I made my way home quickly from volunteering at our oldest son’s school and turned on the tv. With R and my neighbor, I watched the rest of the day play out in real-time while our toddler played at our feet. Later that night I heard the news that a friend had died in one of the crashes. I remember talks with our children about how most people have good intentions and how a few people do bad things. Maybe I was also trying to convince myself at the time that goodness still existed. The world changed that day but I’m holding onto the belief that love is greater than evil.
2. We had the best time in Greenville last weekend. We took a boat ride down to Bath, NC and the sky was beautiful!
3. We’ve been enjoying watching movies lately rather than starting another series. Upbeat movies like Peanut Butter Falcon, Due Date, and Palm Springs to name a few. Do you have any recommendations?
4. The kitchen soaps received an upgrade. The polished jar on Etsy has so many pretty bottle/label options. Note: the bottle on the right contains blue soap (because that’s what I had on hand) which makes the bottle look blue.
5. In case you missed it, smoky rose wallpaper get the look for less and also new fall favorites. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
