A couple of months we added an island to our kitchen. We wonder how we ever functioned without it. Even though our space is slightly smaller than what is recommended for island spacing, it has not been an issue. We have been very happy with our decision to bring this hard-working piece of furniture into our kitchen! This island is where we serve breakfast on the weekends, prepare lunch and dinner, and where we hang out during happy hour (if we aren’t outside). I love having extra storage and extra towel racks. And of course, it gives me another place for flowers and candles. Today, I’m excited to share a round-up of favorite islands in case you are in the market for one.
