1. A few weeks ago when I posted about our new kitchen island, I asked for your advice on what kind of rug I should look for to go under it. Most of you voted for a vintage rug – thank you for the feedback! I was already leaning that way, I just needed a little nudge. Long story short, I accidentally bought a rug, lol! The rug is pretty, but the space needed more color. So, I went with a multi-colored “vintage rug”. As much as I like this one, it wasn’t “the one”. If any of you who are local are interested, it’s for sale for $100. the size is 5’4″ X 7’8″. Email me if you are interested.
2. I received a review copy of the most beautiful decorating book this week. I could not wait to pour through it! Summer to Summer is full of summer homes in various styles. One of my favorite homes is Aerin Lauder’s Greek Revival. This book is full of beautiful inspiration!
3. During quarantine, my friend K.J. started sharing video recipes on Facebook. Her recipes are all so good and I’ve actually tried several of them. This is a tomato pie I made using a recipe K.J. posted. We devoured it in one night! I just found out that she started her own YouTube channel called Southern Homebody. Yay! Be sure to check her out here.
4. We watched the Jeffrey Epstein documentary, Filthy Rich this week. Several of his victims shared their stories of how he used his power and wealth to control their lives. I’m both saddened and disgusted by his and Ghislaine Maxwell’s actions.
5. The new Magnolia Collection has lots of cute spring/summer things for the home.

OK, dumb question – for YouTube recipe posts, is there a recipe pdf somewhere that I can keep? I do not see where to find it.
Thanks – love your Friday Notes!
