Greetings from Surf City! Today is our last full day at the beach. Bitter-sweet for sure, but I always come home inspired with renewed energy and focus. We all need a getaway from time to time.
I’ve been collecting the most beautiful little rocks this week. There are so many on the beach in all colors, but I’m especially drawn to the clear/white ones.
I’ve been going for walks on the beach every day, something I will miss for sure.
I’ve also been doing a little house stalking. A girl can’t help it!
The sunrises are breathtakingly gorgeous!
Our sons insisted on getting donuts from The Fractured Prune. Goodness, they were delicious!
I asked everybody in an Instagram story which books to read next now that I’ve finished Where the Crawdads Sing and here’s what they said.

Someone on Instagram also told me about the Karen Beasley Turtle Hospital. We all visited one cloudy day and it was truly amazing. I’m so glad we went!
We also stopped by the Salty Turtle Beer Company for a refreshment. It’s fun having adult kids!
I hope you are having a great week!

I loved Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine – it is different but worth it. I just read it a few weeks ago. I usually like thrillers or mysteries but this was a good change of pace.
