Hey, y’all! I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone today with a little video. I told you a while back that I had signed up for the DailyLook subscription service and that I would let you know how it went in case any of you were also thinking about giving it a try. This is not a sponsored post, by the way, but I do receive a credit to my account if any of you sign up. The way the service works is you pay a $40 stylist fee and in exchange you receive a box of clothing put together especially for you based on the questionnaire. The $40 fee can go towards anything you decide to keep. You can send anything you don’t want back in the bag provided. I’m sharing more about my thoughts on each piece and my overall feelings about my experience after the video. I hope you like it!
Outfit 1 – The first outfit is the DailyLook black pants with the Korye grey and white striped sweater layered with the Chaser green cardigan. I really like the pants($75) and think they will be super versatile for dressing up or down. They pull on and have that smooth, suck you in feeling, but are looser in the leg than leggings. The grey and white striped sweater($75) is soft and comfortable and I really like it, but I feel like I can find something just like it somewhere else for less. I love the cardigan($86) because it is a unique alternative to the basic cardigan. The braiding down the back makes it special. I think I’ll keep it.
Outfit 2 – This outfit is with the same pants and the Korye heather beige top($75). I love this top! The sleeve length and weight of the fabric are perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. My only reservation is that this color may wash me out a little because it’s really close to my hair color. I might need more contrast. The last piece in this set is the Cupcakes & Cashmere coat($175) which I love! It’s just too big.
Outfit 3 – The next outfit is with the same pants adding in the Olivia Grey plaid shirt($78) and topping it with the Mystree popcorn sweater($78). I like the overall fit & feel of the shirt, but I’ll be honest, I’m just not much of a plaid girl. The sweater is also nice, but I’m not sure brown is my color. In fairness to the stylist, I did not rule out plaid or brown. I think it really helps to check all the boxes that apply to help the stylist get it right.
Outfit 4 – The final outfit is the Gilli jumpsuit($88). First of all, I so needed to wear Spanx under that jumpsuit, lol! This was my first time trying on a jumpsuit and I’m so glad that my stylist sent one because it got me out of my comfort zone. While this jumpsuit maybe isn’t for me, it’s a little snug around the ribs and also lower cut than I’m comfortable with, I’m definitely open to trying another one.
Overall I’m happy with my experience. I don’t mind paying more for things that I think are unique but would rather save my money if the same look can be found somewhere else for less. The stylist’s tips about outfit combinations are helpful. I need to give feedback on what I like/dislike about each piece in order to help my stylist get a feel for my style. I’m going to give it one more try and I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes.

Thank you so much, Beth! I had so many questions before I signed up so I wanted to do something that might help others in a similar situation.
