End Of Summer Room Refresh

Now that we are empty-nesters, our house has been a flurry of activity. As you know, I’ve been working on the upstairs bedrooms which aren’t quite picture-worthy yet. I’ve also been turning R’s old office downstairs into a den/tv room and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! As you all know, one thing leads to another and now both our den and living rooms have received a little makeover.

As luck would have it, Rooms To Go offered a partnership and I’m so thankful! It had been years since I’d stepped foot into a Rooms To Go. Not knowing what to expect, I was thrilled to find a few pieces that are perfect for our spaces. I was looking for a sofa for the living room that’s a little dressier than what was there before. This room is going to be more formal than before, but not stuffy. I wanted something that is comfortable, neutral, and classic and the sofa I found is perfect! I love that it has two seat cushions! The bronze and glass coffee table I chose made the biggest difference in this room in terms of lightening the space. I’m so happy with how this room came together. Now, when I walk in the front door I see a room that is welcoming and fresh. I love that it’s also the first room people see when they enter our home.

Now for the den. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with this little space! It has become the room where we spend the most time. It’s cozy and comfortable. I should also mention that it is located on the north end of our house, so it can be a bit dark in terms of capturing a great picture. One of the things we knew we wanted in this space was an oversized ottoman to prop our feet. Score! We also wanted a comfy chair preferably one that swivels. Another score!

Rooms To Go exceeded my expectations. The in-store staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable – available when you needed them, but not at all pushy. We made our selections, paid, and were out the door in less than one hour on a Saturday. On Sunday I received a call confirming the furniture would be delivered the next day between 12 and 4:00. On Monday, the delivery man called to confirm that he would arrive at my house in thirty minutes. He along with a helper arrived and were friendly and efficient. They placed each item exactly where they were directed and removed all packaging and trash in less than 20 minutes. The process from start to finish was flawless.

Rooms To Go had the perfect pieces to complete each space and I could not be happier with the way they both turned out! While each room serves a different purpose (one being casual and the other formal) they both are equally comfortable and just what I had in mind. Thank you Rooms To Go!
