Burial, Brewery Bhavana, & Hockey

Last weekend, R and I went to Raleigh with a group of friends. We hit up a couple of breweries and took in a hockey game.

I was excited to visit the new Burial in Raleigh because it’s one of my favorite breweries in Asheville. It did not disappoint! Even though the space is small, it’s full of great details. Referred to as “The Exhibit”, art is displayed on rustic exposed brick walls of a century-old coach house. I tried the Surface of Sanity, a sour ale, and it was delicious!

Next stop, Brewery Bhavana. Y’all, I had no idea what a treat this would be! I immediately fell in love with this place! My friends and I were blown away by how beautiful everything was. (click on the link to see more) There’s an expansive bar with taps and lots of seating. In another room, there’s more seating and a market filled with book and flowers.

You can even BYOB, build your own bouquet.

The branding is brilliant and right down my alley. I love how clean it is and the soft color palette is so pretty. The cuisine menu looks amazing & I’m told that you need to make dinner reservations well in advance.

Last stop, the hockey game! I had never been to a hockey game before, but it was a fun experience. The Hurricanes won, so that made it even more exciting. If you ever go to a game in Raleigh, the pulled pork nachos are to die for – so good!
