Happy New Year friends! I hope you all are inspired and ready to embrace this new year with open arms. I’m always excited to have a clean slate and a fresh start with a promise of new and dreams and adventures. It’s been wonderful having a house full with our sons being home and friends coming and going. I love seeing their eyes light up when they share their passions and future plans. Our house has entertained lots of laughter and conversation over the last few weeks and I’ve enjoyed every second of it! One son has already gone back to Greenville (because adulthood calls), and our youngest will be leaving in a few days to go back to school. I waited until today to take down the Christmas decor which felt good in a productive yet cleansing way. Having a bit more breathing room is nice after the cozier holiday vibe.
Moving on, I’ve been taking a look at Cottage and Vine, thinking about where I want to go from here in 2019. It always helps to take a look back to see what you all liked so that I continue sharing things that keep you coming around. Monday Inspiration, Monthly Style, and Friday Link Love remain popular among readers so those will continue to be part of the content. Below are the top five posts from 2018.
Last but certainly not least, my post on curb appeal was a hit. I’m looking forward to seeing grass and landscape this green again. How long until spring??
P.S. The Nordstrom Half Off Yearly sale ends today. I’m planning to go shopping with a gift card I received for Christmas. Nothing like last minute pressure, ha!
