The sun finally came out yesterday and the snow is almost gone with except for the piles in shopping center parking lots (ew). I’ll admit that I was happy to see it go this time – now if the yard would dry enough so that Reagan can go outside to get her wiggles out (insert eye roll), haha. I had been waiting for a sunny day so that I could take a few pictures of our living room.
I kept things really simple this year with regard to the Christmas tree. Normally I put every ornament we own on the tree, but this year I opted to add only the garland, a few snowflakes, and a few neutral ornaments. So far, no one has noticed (or at least no one in my family commented) so I consider that I small victory. This year, I went with a faux garland, a wooden bead garland, and sweater knit stockings. Simplicity is everything this year.
