Last weekend I joined R in Pensacola Beach, FL for a restful weekend getaway. He had business there & I’m always happy near water, so win-win. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, a little chilly, but really, really pretty. We went to Pensacola a year ago and I was excited to go back and do a little more exploring. We, of course, hit up our favorite restaurant on the bay Red Fish Blue Fish. The food is good, but what I really enjoy is being by the water with live music and fire pits, under the prettiest sunsets. I also enjoyed a long walk on the beach – by myself since R is currently wearing a boot due to a stress fracture. We went for a drive which led to miles of undeveloped beach. I mean no houses for miles, only beach, dunes, and sea oats! We also checked into a couple of fun breweries – Perfect Plain Brewing Co. (see images below) and Big Top Brewing.
