Friday Link Love + Weekend Sales

Even before Florence made landfall, winds were beginning to pick up here in Greensboro yesterday.  My son and I agreed that there just seemed to be a certain energy in the air. I’ve already pulled a few fallen branches from the yard and awoke to more this morning.  R left for Germany Tuesday and returns today to this madness.  Fingers crossed that all goes well there.  I’ve had a few displaced swimmers from ECU this week as campus closed Tuesday.  My oldest son had to stay in Greenville for work so I’ll be staying tuned to conditions there – the Tar River is prone to flooding.
