1. Eyelash serum A while back I gave a review of my experience with Lash Boost. My lashes had never been longer and I was thrilled with the results. Once the serum ran out I was faced with the decision to invest in Lash Boost ($130) or try something that cost a little less, but that may not work as well. I read up on this serum and decided to give it a try. My lashes are still long (and shiny) and it only costs $30.
2. Hyaluronic acid serum I’m a huge fan of hyaluronic acid serum! I use it daily AM & PM after cleansing and applying toner to my face. I also use it immediately following the derma roller to rehydrate and calm my skin. It reduces fine lines, moisturizes, and leaves skin feeling soft, never greasy.
3. Tinkle razors You may recall my post here where I shared the secret to a smooth face free of peach fuzz. These are still my razors of choice. My tinted moisturizer goes on smoother and other products have better contact with my skin. Have you tried them?
4. Chlorophyll concentrate What does it do? Chlorophyll helps fight cancer, detoxifies the liver, speeds up wound healing, improves digestion, and helps build red blood cells. It may even help with weight control. I take it twice daily – 17 drops mixed with water in a little shot glass. This way I can take it quickly and then follow with a glass of water. It has a bit of a minty flavor, not terrible, but not great either.
5. Rosehip oil Rosehip oil is rich in linolenic acid and vitamin A. It moisturizes and brightens the skin and also helps with breakouts. I apply it last, after cleansing, toning, and serums.
6. Crest 3-D whitening strips Teeth are one of the first things I notice about a person. Okay confession, I’m a bit obsessive about it actually. There’s really no excuse for poor oral hygiene. Brushing twice daily, flossing, and a whitening strip every so often goes a long way. These whitening strips cost a little more, but I only use them once every 2-4 weeks or whenever my teeth look like they could use a little whitening.
7. Vital Proteins Collagen I started using this product last year and cannot say enough great things! As we age, collagen breaks down in the body. Collagen is a protein that gives our hair strength and elasticity and replaces dead cells. It also contributes to joint and tendon health. I add it to my breakfast smoothy every morning. Recipe: 1 handful spinach (greens), 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen (protein), 2 tablespoons ground chia seed (fiber), 2 tablespoons almond butter (healthy fat), 8 ounces almond milk, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/2 frozen banana (to sweeten). This sticks with me all morning until lunch.
8. Baby Foot I shared Baby Foot with you a couple of years ago. It’s a must do before sandal season rolls around!

Thanks for this. I would be concerned about using the Tinkle razors on my face. Don't they promote more growth?
René says
Hair eventually grows back, but not more hair. When it does grow back, it's exactly the same as before from my personal experience. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the cool recommendations. I will give them a try. Can you recommend a Derma Roller?

I clicked on your link for a derma roller, but don't understand it's purpose. Why is rolling tiny needles on your skin helpful?
René says
Great question! The roller helps skin create more collagen. The tiny pin pricks cause the skin to work to heal itself which leads to improved texture, reduction in lines & wrinkles, and also imroves scars.

Just be sure not to use if you have Rosacea or sensitive skin!

I love this post. Thank you! I would love to see more like this! I added most of these items to my wish list and I'll be ordering the derma roller linked above and the serum.do you order the chia seeds on Amazon too?
René says
I bought the chia seeds at Harris Teeter, but I’m sure you can find them on Amazon. Make sure to get ones that are already ground. 🙂
