I think we can all agree that this winter has been colder than usual, especially here in Greensboro. While I prefer warmer days, I don’t really mind the cold as long as I’m prepared. There are several things I reach for over and over to stay warm and I’m here today to share them with you.
I received a True Grit quarter zip pullover for Christmas and love it! It is the softest, coziest pullover ever! Every time I wear it I receive so many compliments. Everyone needs one, even the guys. I don’t know what I’d do without my smartwool socks. Wool naturally wicks away moisture while keeping your feet warm without being bulky or itchy (win, win, win). Ugg boots aren’t for everybody, but they are hands down the warmest boot I own. They come in many different styles too which is a plus. Last year this jacket by Refrigerwear was given to me to review. Let me just say that I wear it every morning to walk Reagan. Every morning… sometimes in the single digits. I love that it keeps me warm (duh), but it isn’t bulky. Also, it has thumb holes! This beanie is also a must when I walk and it comes in a gazillion colors. Whenever it’s cold & rainy, I reach for my Bean boots. They keep my feet much warmer than my Hunter boots and pair perfectly with smartwool socks.
What about you? Do you have cold weather gear you cannot live without?
