I picked up some eucalyptus at Trader Joe’s the other day. Every room could use a little. I love how it gets along with the green/gray pillows. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s here in Greensboro, but it gives me a chance to visit other favorite spots in Winston Salem like Dewey’s (hello cake squares) and Wiseman Brewing (hello craft beer). We usually make an afternoon of it.
That ficus tree has been limping along for about 20 years, lol! It was less than a foot tall when Mom gave it to Mr. Do you know how to re-shape a ficus? Is it even possible?
Mr. and I (mostly me, ha) are prioritizing our projects list which includes refinishing the upstairs floors. You might recall I painted them white years ago. That should be a huge jobby job, one that will take more than a weekend.
We are also planning to add subway tile to our kitchen and give it a fresh coat of white paint. Looking so forward to this! I’m also itching to add more mouldings to certain areas of our home for a more custom look and have been saving lots of inspiration images. What have you been up to?
P.S. You can find links to items in this space at the top of the page where it says shop.

Thank you Karen! I'll have to try it. I usually use osmocote, but this tree hasn't seen fertilizer in quite a while. Maybe that's the problem, lol!

Can you share where the mirror over he fireplace is from? Thanks!

There is a "shop my home" tab at the top of the blog that has links to most everything in the room. Hope this helps. 🙂
