I’m so glad that I took before pictures because this stuff really works! The instructions say to apply at the base of the top lashes at bedtime. The first couple of nights my eyes felt a little itchy, but that quickly passed. I did this every night for 6 weeks and the results were amazing! My lashes are not only longer, but they are also darker. Even though I didn’t put the product on my lower lashes, they appear fuller, longer, and darker. My husband noticed it too.
Would I try it again? Absolutely! If you would like to try it too, you can find it here. Lash Boost is $135 for preferred customers (a one time fee of $19.95 which provides a discount and free shipping) or $150 retail plus tax & shipping. My friend Yianna is super sweet and is available to chat via her email if you have questions. She is offering a free gift to anyone who makes a purchase and mentions Cottage and Vine. Let me know if you try it.

You can buy Bimatoprost for $38 now! It is the generic version of Latisse. It requires prescription, but any dermatologist can do that.

Curious how this comes off when you wash your face? I have used product by Lancome which advertises as a lash lengthener and conditioner, and it really helps the same problem you have experienced. It doesn't look this long, however. I would be concerned that when you took it off, more lashes might come with it. What has been your experience?
René says
There is nothing to take off so no lashes are lost. The product is a liquid that is applied along the root of the lashes & washes off with water.

Lash Boost is a serum made of keratin, biotin (think of all the good things we buy to put in our hair), and is meant to strengthen and lengthen your lashes. It is a simple application process, you just apply a small amount to the base of your lash line (upper lashes only – when you sleep it will transfer to your bottom lashes, hence why Rene mentioned growth on her lower lashes too). Make sure to remove all eye makeup before applying. It is lightweight and will wash off when you wash your face the next morning!

Lash Boost is great! I have used it and highly recommend it.
René says
Isn't it great!? I find that my eyes look a hundred times better without any makeup.
Yianna says
It's great for the summer days when you don't want to worry about your mascara running down your face at the beach/pool!

How long does a tube last? I'm trying to establish a cost per use. And I assume that you have to keep using it to maintain the results?
René says
I've been using this tube daily since March and it's still going strong.
Yianna says
From my experience and other customers 3-5 months, depending on use, is common. I found that after 2 months of very consistent (at least 5 times per week) I could reduce to 3 times per week and still have the same results. I bought my first tube in October and didn't replace it until February. If that helps!
Dianne says
What happens when you stop using it?
René says
Great question! Maybe Yianna will answer this question for us. 🙂
Yianna says
Happy to! Dianne – your lashes are on a natural growth cycle, like any hair follicle, so when you stop using the serum, the lashes that grow and haven't been exposed to the serum don't receive the same benefits as your lashes that do get the serum. I've done some research and it seems a typical lash growth cycle can be anywhere from 30-45 days so you may see a month or two of continued length and growth but after that your lashes will start to return to their pre-Lash Boost state. Trust me, though, you won't want to stop! I've been using mine consistently since October and have no plans to ever run out!

Great post! I had lash extensions and decided to stop. When I had my last refill, I started using Lash Boost and it was amazing the natural state of my lashes after my last extension fell off. Extensions ruin your lashes, break them, pull them out and is flat out expensive and high maintenance! Usually when you stop doing extentions, it looks as if you have no lashes, but because I started Lash Boost during my last set of extensions, my lashes looked great! Its time to reorder and I'm certainly sticking with it. MUCH cheaper then extensions!

I agree Kim!
