Friday Link Love - Cottage and Vine

Monday morning our youngest son boarded a plane bound for Orlando, FL. R had business out of town and for the first time in a while I was alone for a couple of nights. The reality of our son graduating and going off to college in the fall (something I’ve been trying to avoid thinking about) became a bitter sweet reality. The house was extremely quiet. No meals to plan. No morning chats about twitter feeds & sports updates. And no daily anecdotes about school teachers and swim practice. His wings are spreading and soon he will fly away. I find comfort in knowing that he is ready.

Love these kitchen tips and the snug bathroom photos. I'm in the process of purchasing a darling little "snug" home and I'm planning blue bottom cabinets in the kitchen (glad to know I'm on the right track) but need help with the bathroom! Safe travels for your boys!

Empty nests are a GOOD thing. It's the beginning of a new phase in your life and you can spread YOUR wings, too. 🙂

Just FYI – it's St. Paddy's Day – not Patty which is is the diminutive of Patricia.
