We finally have an unscheduled weekend at home and I cannot tell you how happy that makes me! We’ll put the final touches on our fireplace hearth makeover (I know I’ve said that before), do some much needed yard clean up, and maybe explore a new brewery this weekend. I know it’s early, but daffodils are beginning to emerge and the hellebores are already blooming – a welcome sign of the warmer days to come. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you for those words to quit. They are insidious.

Hopefully I can remember to use those helpful tips.

Thank you for the article on ship lap! I love this trend too, but fall in that group that it just doesn't work in my house! Case in point, my neighborhood is all brick, colonial Williamsburg homes, so pretty traditional. We recently had a younger women (who is a designer) move in and she's filled her home with ship lap! Needless to say, it's one of the more unique homes in our neighborhood! It made me realize how much you have to have the right space for it and it is a trend that will inevitably look dated!

I'm glad you found the post helpful. I agree that it will look dated in certain homes, but also timeless in others that are more in keeping with that style.

Yes….I would shiplap everything….I really love how it brings texture to a space….I think it is here to stay:) That beach house was incredible…she really knows how to pull back on the reins with her decorating. AND…thank you SO much for featuring me on Friday links! Hope you are having a nice Sunday!
