When we remodeled our kitchen way back when, we opted for can lights knowing that one day we would most likely bring in better lighting. After a while we decided to convert two of the can lights to drum shade pendants. You couldn’t always tell from the pictures, but the drum shades were not centered over the table. It was good enough for the time, but never the best scenario. Isn’t it crazy how long we live with things that aren’t quite right?! R & and I knew that we wanted a long light to hang over our farm table, but never pulled the trigger on any of the lights we saw for whatever reason. Over the holidays we had time to think about little details in our home and make a few decisions that we had been putting off. A new light for the kitchen was one of them. We ordered this light in bronze, scheduled the electricians, and boom, check another decision off the list. I’m so happy with how this turned out!
In other news, Reagan follows me all day and is proving to be one of the better photo bombers I’ve known, haha!

As a woman with three Weimaraners I know it is impossible to take a picture without a Weim in the way!

Love the light. I have the exact same problem with the drum pendants off center. I am definetly going to fix that this year. I also need to repaint. Can you tell us the wall color? I really like it.

Thank you! Glad to know I'm not the only one! The color is gray owl, Benjamin Moore.

One of my favorite fixtures….It's big but the fact that there is no glass really is great as no dusting in that department!

I'm with ya there!
