Please don’t look too closely. We have chipped paint that needs touching up as well as a little dirt here and there from our wild child #reagantheweimdog. But I wanted to share a few pictures of our entryway and family room. Last year I stepped out of my norm and used pink as an accent color. It was fun, but I’m back to black & white on the front door wreath. I found the wreath at The Fresh Market, by the way. The mantel is decorated with fresh cypress from my yard and cedar from Mom’s yard (thanks Mom). Last year I was gifted an artificial tree and a year later I’m still loving it! Most of the links to these spaces can be found here. I’ll be sharing more pictures of our Christmas home next week.

Thanks for mentioning the chipped paint as it does make all of us feel better about our own flaws. I do have an eagle eye, though, and can't find any chipped paint! All looks beautiful. I really like that narrow tree, it's just wonderful.

Oh I can see it & also the dirt smudge on the slip cover. Thank goodness for slip covers! Thank you Jeannine.

Your home is beautiful Rene! Very warm and welcoming. The tree is gorgeous and I love the classic black and white ribbon on the wreath. Looks great on your door.
