I stumbled upon this beautiful home after reading Emily’s post yesterday and immediately fell in love. I find it quite refreshing when the original floor plans of older homes are left in tack. More often than not, walls are knocked down resulting in open floor plans leaving homes with little (or no) soul. I’m also amazed when spaces are used to their fullest – a perfect example is this gorgeous living room. Instead of knocking down the wall, built-ins were added. The framed textiles behind the sofa along with collected art hanging on the built-ins creates a small space gallery. Brilliant in my opinion. The adjoining dining room is a continuation of the mod/trad mixture. Love the settee and lighting! And believe it or not, you’ll find IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. Get all the details here plus a fun video that offers more insight into the project here. Enjoy!
