Believe it or not, I’ve never watched the show, but enjoyed this tour.
Good advice from Erin and her new product line.
Love Laura’s kitchen updates!
Three ice cubes a week was always my strategy, but now I’m wondering.
There’s a sale you should know about this weekend – the Shopbop event of the season. Basically, the more you spend, the more you save. Things are flying off the shelves, but I’ve pulled a few favorites together that are in stock (for now). Happy shopping!

I really enjoyed the Bachelor house tour- it's beautiful. BUT- it sounds like all of his stuff was put into storage (like the antlers that were replaced with a purchased cow skull), pushed aside, or put in the basement. I don't love all of my husbands sentimental decor items, but I still find a way to incorporate them to honor his style and history.

I know what you mean Ashley. I'm currently trying to find a place for his beer glass collection. 😉

Hi, Rene'. I've only recently began reading your blog and I went back and read your post about losing Mattie Gray. I just want to say that I am so, so sorry for your loss of your beautiful dog. I have euthanized two dear dog friends and it is just gut-wrenching, I know. Like any severe loss in our lives the pain does lessen, but we never lose it entirely, I think. It becomes like an old wound that left a scar. I loved seeing the pictures of Mattie Gray. She looks like a sweet, wonderful girl and I know your lives were enriched by her being part of your family.
Anyway, after reading about her death, I just felt the need to send you my sympathy even tho' it's been several months ago. Grief has its own time-frame and is different for everyone, but I believe eventually, like you said, you will remember mostly the good times with Mattie Gray and what a faithful and important member of your family she was.
Blessings to all of you,
Naomi S. in Michigan

Thank you so much for your heart felt words Naomi. We miss our sweet girl, and not a day goes by that we don't say, "remember when Mattie Gray did (fill in the blank)…" As you may know, we have another weim, Reagan who has certainly added much needed energy and diversion to our home. Without meaning to jinx anything, I believe the worst of the puppy phase is behind us now. I fall more in love with her each day, though she will never replace MG.
Thanks again for your comment.
