Whenever I know company is coming I make a to-do list a mile long. Cleaning is always on the list along with 27 other things. What happens is that I get so caught up in the little details like setting a pretty table or preparing the perfect dish that I run out of time to clean. Even though our house is relatively clean, the floors can get dirty in a hurry. So when guests come floors are a top priority.
Whenever I’m in a rush for time I grab my Bona dusting cloths. I’ve been using Bona products for years ever since my hardwood floor guy recommended it to clean my floors.
I recently tried the dusting cloths and was happy to have a quick way to eliminate dust & debris from the floors, especially the hard to reach places like under the window seat.
The banquette is another place that collects dust and is hard to reach without climbing all the way across the back. Now I can easily reach it with a stick mop.
Speaking of those hard to reach spots, the dusting cloths come in super handy in the bathroom for picking up hair, etc. As a matter of fact, they work as well on stone surfaces as they do on wood.
My tips for using Bona dust cloths is to start with less dirty surfaces first such as walls and furniture and work your way to the dirtier spaces like floors and heater vents. By design they lock away dust, dirt and hair and they are hands down a favorite time saver. You’ll be amazed by how quickly you can clean without plugging in the vacuum cleaner.
P.S. Reagan thinks this is all a game.

I use them – and all the Bona floor products and they really do work well, especially when you are in a hurry. We have a golden retriever so you can imagine our fur situation! Reagan is adorable…

I agree Shelley! Reagan doesn't shed that much, but my mother's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels do and the cloths really help with the hair.

Hadn't heard about the dust products and will definitely be trying them next trip to the store. I love my two cats but the shedding is tremendous! Since your husband is a floor guy, I have a question you might know the answer to. I have hard wood floors and use the bona products to wash them but they are so dull! I thought the shine would come back. Any thoughts on returning the shine to wood floors?

Hi Linda. I wish my husband was a floor guy, lol! You might look for a polish that is safe to use on wood floors and test a small area to see if you like the results. Hope this helps.

Do you also use them as a cloth without the stick for dusting of the tops of furniture?

Do you use the Bona dust cloths without the stick for your regular furniture dusting, etc.?
René says
I use a cloth and furniture polish for deep cleaning, but when I'm in a hurry I use the dusting cloths to dust furniture (without a stick) & then with a stick on floors.
