I’m forever designing our second home in my mind. I envision it to be positioned by water (ocean or lake would be just fine). The color palette would be mostly neutrals and the decor would consist of easy going furnishings and a very edited assortment of accessories. I find that when I’m on vacation the simplest spaces are the most relaxing so I’m not constantly rearranging/redecorating in my mind. Can anyone relate? This home happens to be perfect in my book. Take a look.
In other news, I apologize for my absence this summer. As you know, I treasure my time with family and try to be “present” whenever possible. Now that long course swimming is about to wrap up our youngest son is beginning to focus his attention on college applications and all that comes with. I’m not going to go into my usual sappy dialogue, but gosh, this all happens so fast. I’m pretty sure that just yesterday we were reading stories and playing legos together. Hope you are having a great summer!

This house is so pretty Rene. I just love the lighting in the kitchen! We are doing the same thing this summer….summer sports and colleges. I am trying to enjoy where we are at right now but it's hard to now say, where did the time go? Enjoy your summer with your boys!

Rene, you have really nailed it on this house. It is beautiful. Love the light floors especially. Wish we could see every nook and crannny.

Any chance you could tell us where the kitchen chairs and oval table are from? I've been searching all day and can't find them anywhere. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Beautiful house!
