When Zephyr invited me to join seven other designers/bloggers to learn about their product and explore San Francisco and Napa, I couldn’t possibly resist! The sweet folks at Zephyr thought of every detail to make this trip one that I’ll never forget. I have so much I want to share with you about the trip so I thought it best to break it down into days.
Arrival day we were greeted in the hospitality suite of our hotel, Clift. There, we put names with faces, and enjoyed a glass of bubbly before dinner. We also received the most thoughtful goodie bag making our stay more enjoyable. By the way chocolate covered popcorn from Dandelion is everything!
We were soon whisked away to the Ferry Building to enjoy dinner at Boulettes Larder. Prepare for tons of pictures because this restaurant is a gem!
The exhibition style of the kitchen allowed us to see most all of the goings on. Fresh fall produce is prominently displayed on nearly every surface. Copper pots in all sizes and wooden bowls add warmth to the stainless steel kitchen.
This is my kind of spice cabinet!
The food was prepared with market fresh seasonal ingredients and the menu changes daily depending on what is available. We quickly inhaled the delicious appetizers and anxiously awaited the rest. Swordfish was my main course and it was divine! The chef, Amaryll Schwertner, spoke with us after our delicious dinner expressing her passion for her work and commitment to conscientiously prepared dishes. If you’re ever in SF, I highly recommend Boulettes Larder!
