September is here. The days are getting shorter and the sun is beginning to cast longer shadows. I love this time of year for being outside by a fire roasting marshmallows, enjoying friends, and conversation. How about you? I’m not much of a “fall decor” person, but I do like the idea of adding warm textures such as sisal and copper. I added this piece to the family room and am changing out the mantel this week. So far I like the changes.
After a few months “jeans free” I’ll be working my way into a pair of flares this month. I love how long and lean they make everyone look. I’ll also be pulling out my blazer for those cooler days and looking for a new pair of flats. Are you ready for September?

September here in East TN is still very warm. We should hit 90 today. I'm not ready to let summer go. Love all the outdoor activities (lake,etc.). Love my flowers and the fresh produce!! Love ankle pants, capris and sandals. Am not looking forward to the change in clothes.

I can relate Tina. The easy going lifestyle and warm sunny days are what I will miss most.

Love the pillow and rug but I still can't get behind spongeware, despite it's huge resurgence.

Haha, had to snicker at "spongeware". I really like it mixed in with white dishes and would never use it alone as a "set". But that's just me – I like to mix it up. 🙂

Great round up, I for one will be welcoming sweater weather as I struggle to lose the baby weight!!

I did get some flares but….they look best with higher shoes and I am spoiled with wearing flat sandals this summer….need to suck it up and just hem then a little so I can wear them with a medium height shoe or boot:)
