I love a good before & after and this one is quite a transformation. This charming cottage located on Harbour Island had to be completely rebuilt. Old materials that were no longer sturdy enough to use in the structure of the house have been re-purposed in other ways – the picket fence, walkway, and platform bed. The unified color scheme (Touch of Grey by Devoe Paint) help the “flow” while the bright accent colors give each space energy. Shiplap walls paired with stained wooden window sashes strike the perfect balance. Thrift store and eBay finds add warmth and interest as well as giving nod to the history of the home. Could I please spend a week here?
