It’s really beginning to feel like summer around here. Our youngest son had his last class last Friday and the first summer swim meet is tonight. I’m looking forward to the longer days and slower pace of summer. It’s time for me to trade the heavy fabrics for lighter ones and edit down vignettes inside our home to create a lighter more relaxed feeling. I moved the fiddle leaf fig outside which frees up space inside. Love it when we can move those houseplants outside for a few months! I’ve found a few things that would add a touch of summer both inside and outside the home. Enjoy!
1. Fringed napkins – I love them in blue!
2. Fish serving bowl – They also have smaller bowls and bakeware in this pattern. Great prices!
3. Confetti glassware – Serve up beverages in champagne flutes & wine glasses in pretty summer colors.
4. Galvanized party tub – No party is complete without the party tub! You can also find these at hardware stores, but they may not have the wooden handle.
5. Whitewashed rattan lanterns – These come in 12″ and 16″ and look great hung in mass.
6. Outdoor Striped Pouf – Love this one and am very tempted to add it to our patio.
7. English garden pillows – I am seriously dying over these John Robshaw pillows!
8. Vines wool rug – We are on the hunt for a new living room rug and this is one I’m considering.
9. All weather rope rug – Love this texture and it comes in lots of colors.
10. Beachcomber basket – Because baskets are always a good idea.

I love the galvanized party tubs! They would be perfect as planters too! Thanks 🙂
