Do you have trouble finding just the thing for Mom? I do. My mother gives generously all year long and it seems that no gift would ever come close to showing her how much her unending love is appreciated. I find that one of the best gifts is spending time together, but I also like to think of simple ways to make the every day a little more special.
Here are a few favorites that I think most moms would enjoy.
Sunnies – Every mom needs a good pair of sunglasses and my personal favorite is the Classic Wayfarer.
Comfy Shoes – Confession time. Come summertime, I live in Sanuk Yoga flip flops. I love for my feet to be out so they can breathe and these have just the right amount of cushion. I recently tried on the Yoga Sling and loved how they felt. They come in a variety of colors, but I thought the stripes were cute. I might be going back for a pair.
New Fragrance – I’ve been wearing La Vie est Belle since it came out. It is the perfect balance of spice and floral and lasts all day.
Pretty Essentials – True & Co. recently came through my facebook feed and I was curious to try it out. The process is really quite simple. You answer a series questions then take a picture of yourself with an iphone (not my strong suit, by the way) . You then receive recommendations for the perfect bra. My new bra & undies arrived last week and I must say that they both are fabulous! It is probably safe to say that we could all up our underwear game a little. P.S. They offer gift cards.
Silk Robe – Is there anything more luxurious than a silk robe?
A Beautiful Book – I recently read On Garden Style by Bunny Williams. The book itself is a revised version of the 1998 release. In the book Bunny helps you envision the garden you would like to have and then design a space that reflects your personal style. Added bonus, the book is full of beautiful images.
Colorful Art – A new piece of art is one of the quickest ways to freshen a room (other than pillows of course). There are so many great choices at Minted and I love that they offer so many size/frame options.
