As many of you know, I offer e-design and one of the options if you do not want help planning an entire room is the one hour consultation. The one hour consultation has been very popular lately and I think my clients are very happy when they find out how easy it is. It is easy for many reasons but for the most part, I can usually squeeze in an hour here or there around other projects so there isn’t a long waiting list. Also, the service can be used for anything including color advice, furniture/accessory shopping, etc. and can also cover multiple rooms. Lately, there has been a big push to finish rooms in time for the holidays which I completely understand. I still have room for a few more consultations before the holidays if any of you are interested.
If you would like to know more, here’s a little more about how the process works:
Client emails me to inquire about service. I have them fill out this questionnaire as completely as possible. They either email pictures or upload them onto the questionnaire. Together we decide on the amount of time the consultation should take (1-2 hours usually, but sometimes more).
Next I send an invoice via PayPal for the amount of time we decide on. I make sure that I have all the information I need before we start.
Once I receive the payment from my client I set up a private pinboard that only the two of us can see. I begin pinning images and links with detailed explanations for my client’s reference. Clients are welcome to comment and pin as well. Once the hour is complete, I send over a conclusion with any additional details that I can think of that will help with the project. My client then has room for a few questions for clarification if needed.
If you need help with a few things around the house that have been lingering, email me and I will help you finish that room.
