Happy New Year!!!
I’ve been walking down memory lane quite a bit lately. I hope you don’t mind. Looking back can be helpful in many ways. I like to know what you like and why you come here. We are all learning and intuition tells me that we are all looking to improve certain aspects of our lives.
In March I shared five ways to avoid the room in the can look,
In April I shared my experience with Overstock,
we planted our raised vegetable garden,
and finished a concept board for a colorful family room.
In May I showed you four porch styles,
six ways to improve curb appeal,
and kitchen soffit solutions.
In June we toured a pretty home by the sea,
my friend Laura painted her house,
and I shared a look for less lighting option.
In July I shared my DIY bulletin board along with a round-up of favorite inspiration boards,
suggestions for re-thinking that grand foyer,
In September I shared a few pictures from around our house,
we got a little teary with thoughts on parenting and letting go,
and a local family’s new home.
In October I showed you how beds in front of windows DO work,
how details such as millwork make all the difference,
and a tale of two sofas.
In November I shared the master bedroom reveal,
and my wreath making round-up.
In December I shared our Christmas home and new wreath,
the Homestretch Holiday show went live,
and a few of my favorite things.

Hi, happy new year! I am a relatively new follower to your blog, and I really love it. My favorite kinds of posts are the random ones like your "Senseless Beauty" because I think we can all relate to the idea of placing beauty in our homes for no reason other than to have beauty. These are the posts that really give you insight to the blogger you are following, and whether you will enjoy doing so, because they aren't associated with any big "room reveal" or sponsorship ( I love those too, though!) . I am not a pro blogger at all, but I follow many home interior blogs because I love to make my regular old home beautiful. Seeing the posts where you are just you being you, gives us a glimpse of what you are inspired by and in turn inspires us!
