When it comes to interiors, ceilings are often thought of as the fifth wall of a room. I don’t believe that every ceiling needs to receive a special treatment, but in many cases, adding detail to a ceiling would absolutely enhance the overall style of the room.
If you live in an older home, this may look familiar. Water damage or other wear and tear that leaves a room looking dirty and outdated. If you are facing ceiling repair, there are many options that can be used to improve the appearance of your ceiling. Take this room for example. The mill work in the room brings a stately vibe to the office, but I wouldn’t stop there. My recommendation would be to add a coffered ceiling to continue the dimensional detailing that is established on the walls.
