As I mentioned the other day, I’ve been thinking about a fall vegetable garden. Our spring garden was such a success and having access to fresh herbs & veggies just out the kitchen door makes cooking more enjoyable.
It seemed like our little garden went from this…
to this in no time…
The extra rain we received this summer made everything so lush and green. We enjoyed lettuce almost daily, tomatoes were plentiful, and for the first time ever, our peppers were edible.
The herb tower continued to grow as well and I’m thinking about adding a few additional herbs to our fall garden.
Funny how this plan is similar to our layout. The plan is to use many of the plants recommended and to make a few changes.
One thing is certain, we need lots of carrots and lettuce for juicing and salads.
What about you, have you planned your fall garden?

Allison & Lisa, I think the rainy season gets most of the credit this time around. I'm really bad about watering 🙂 :).
