Have I ever told you how much Mr. and I love our neighborhood? We do! It is made up of mostly 1930’s houses that all started with basically the same footprint. Over the years, new home owners have come along and put their marks on each house making them their own. Friendly neighbors are always out walking, running, and gardening. Children ride bikes and scooters. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to raise our children!
Another thing that I love about our neighborhood is the charm. Most everyone takes pride in their home and garden which makes me proud to call this little neighborhood home. You can see a few front doors from the neighborhood on this post. My friend Laura recently painted her exterior and I love it! She agreed to let me share pictures on the blog so here goes.
This is Laura’s house before it was painted. Even then it wasn’t bad – it just wasn’t Laura.
Here is the after.
And here is a close-up of the front door. Those must be new house numbers too? Love! Because I know someone will ask, Laura was sweet to share the paint colors with me.

I love it, too! The Anjou Pear is the perfect yellow. We sometimes drive around our neighborhood and just look at all of the different paint schemes for inspiration.
Thanks for posting!

What a difference! Your home looks beautiful and what curb appeal. I just shared a little before and after at piersandchandeliers.blogspot.com on my garage doors for some curb appeal. I'd love it if you stopped by.
Best Regards,

We'd love to update our exterior sooner than later but I also want to make sure we don't rush into anything. Pride of ownership is such a nice thing and knowing that your neighbors all share in that is also a nice feeling.
