Last night I made the most amazing salad! It’s really simple and has my favorite ingredients which include bacon (ha), chicken, avocado, cherry tomatoes from the garden, butter lettuce, and watercress. What really makes it though is the dressing. The dijon, red wine vinegar, and fresh rosemary together are the perfect combo! I cooked the bacon first in a pan. Then reserved about a tablespoon of the grease to cook the chicken breast. I added fresh minced rosemary to the chicken before cooking it. Once the chicken was done, I put all the ingredients together and topped it with the dressing. Easy & delicious!
I recently received the most beautiful napkins from JSH. If you haven’t seen the online store, you are missing out! You might be familiar with the blog, Jenny Steffens Hobick? I’ve long been a fan of Jenny’s classic style and really enjoy her entertaining tips and recipes so much. I think you’ll like it too. Also worth noting, the napkins are sewn by a professional seamstress in the USA. Rightfullysewn.org offers training and job placement assistance for women who are formerly homeless, asylum seekers, or survivors of addiction, abuse, or prostitution.
